Hi, I’m Dian Ara

I’m a chaos personified, a firework of ideas, a heart-driven soul whose brain is like a Ferrari with a bicycle brake.

If you constantly jump between three different craft projects, a stack of half-filled journals, and a super deep rabbit hole on why Gandalf chose Frodo to bear the ring, you are my people. Welcome.

I started this blog to document my journey through countless hyperfixations — from the tactile satisfaction of bookbinding, cutting stickers, and journaling to the visual delight of drawing cute characters and watching scary movies. But underneath the Posca stains and paper scraps, this tiny cozy corner on the internet is really about navigating life, mental health, and creativity with an ADHD brain.

What you’ll find here:

  • Paper productivity and creativity: Journaling hacks, planner layouts, bookbinding tutorials
  • Screen my mind: Deep dives into movies that make me wanna cry my heart out
  • Neurodivergent life: Honest, unfiltered essays on mental health, focus, and making art when my brain insists on thwarting me

A few fun facts about me:

  • I have never finished a sketchbook in chronological order because at any given moment I randomly draw in one of the 5 sketchbooks lying around the house
  • I’m not into sci-fi, but can talk for hours about horror, thriller, and gory movies
  • I was a TEDxJakarta speaker, but if you invite me to speak again on a huge stage, I will most likely refuse

My current hyperfixations:

  • Building 3 different websites
  • Time blocking techniques so I can build 3 different websites while also releasing 1 sticker sheet every 2 weeks

So grab your favorite tea or coffee, and let’s dive into my messy brain.
